Rams To Raid Deepdale For All Three Points

With just seven games left of the season, Preston take on Derby in what will be a huge boost to either side's playoff hopes.

Derby and Preston both sit just three points off the playoff places and are only separated by a goal difference of just one goal.

Since the restart Derby have narrowly come away with two victories against Reading and Millwall.

Preston will want to bounce back from the big blow their playoff dreams suffered in their last game when they lost 3-1 to Cardiff who are now in sixth place and the game before they drew 1-1 to relegation bound Luton, so a win against Derby could be the saviour to their season they need.

Team News

Jack Marriot remains out of the team after undergoing surgery last week so he will be joined on the sidelines by Polish midfielder Krystian Bielik.

Thomas Lawrence will also be on the side-lines for Derby after getting a harsh sending off against Reading after Miazga pushed out at him.

Preston have no new team news and will be expected to play a similar line up to last time out.

Prediction

Derby have been a lot sharper than Preston have been since the restart, and got to the playoff final last year but didn't get promoted so I think they will have the will to be more driven and more confident going into the game but Lawrence's suspension is a big blow for them.
