Forest And Fulham To Share The Spoils

5th placed Nottingham Forest host 4th placed Fulham in yet another big Championship game at 5PM, Tuesday.

Forest currently have a 7 point buffer over 7th placed Derby County, with Fulham two points further away, so with 5 games left in the regular season, both will be hoping to secure their playoff spots with games to spare.

Forest are unbeaten in their 4 matches postseason suspension, with two wins and two draws. Both these wins have come at home so manager Sabri Lamouchi will be hoping this home form can be maintained.

Fulham have bounced back from 2 losses to post back to back wins so are also showing good form heading into this fixture. The losses were at the hands of 2 of the current league top 3 in Leeds and Brentford, so theoretically easier games are to come for the cottagers.

Team News

Sabri Lamouchi has no new injuries as he prepares his forest side to face Fulham. Having given starts to Samba Sow and Nuno da Costa following injury difficulties, these two will be hoping to keep their respective places under pressure from regulars Tiago Silva and Sammy Ameobi.

Forest will be happy to see Fulham frontman and joint league top scorer Aleksander Mitrovic serve the last of his 3-game suspension for a retrospective red card received against Leeds. Another slight doubt is striker Aboubakar Kamara, with Josh Onomah poised to take his place if required. Other than upfront, Scott Parker could field a similar side to that which grabbed a late winner against Birmingham City on Saturday.

Forest claimed the victory in the reverse fixture however at this stage in the season a draw would probably suit both sides, edging them closer to securing playoff spots, with automatic promotion probably a step too far.
