Both Norwich and Brighton head into Saturday’s clash at Carrow Road with one thing on their minds; to survive.
Norwich go into this must-win game in dismal form having won just once in their last eight league outings. Since the June restart, they’ve lost all four matches and found the net only once; coming in an FA Cup tie against Manchester United.
Currently seven-points adrift at the bottom of the table with just six games reaming, a loss will do no favours in the Canaries’ bid for survival.
Brighton, on-the-other-hand, jumped out of the gate when the league restarted and picked up four points in their first two games to help climb further away from the drop-zone. But, last Tuesday’s loss at the hands of a dominant Man United side reignited relegation fears for the Seagulls.
An away win for the Albion though, something they’ve only managed twice this entire campaign, will boost survival hopes and all-but ensure another season in the Premier League.
